Partners Business Services, LLC (“PBS”) is the property management company which provides services to residential and commercial properties.

The PBS market is concentrated in the island of Puerto Rico.

Currently, PBS manages approximately 16% of all Section 8 projects in Puerto Rico and 27% of all Section 8 units in the Metropolitan Area.

PBS expects to increase its market by promotion through advertising and its relationship with the HUD Caribbean Office, Puerto Rico Housing Finance Authority and the Southern Affordable Housing Management Association (“SAHMA”) Puerto Rico Chapter.

Founding Partner

Mr. Rafael Vélez Rivera, CPA, CGMA, CFPGI – President & Chief Executive Officer – Mr. Vélez has over 35 years of vast experience working in the real estate and property management industry. He has extensive knowledge in the accounting and finance side of this industry, including controllership, treasury, cash management, consolidations, mergers, acquisitions, refinancing and financial consulting, amongst others.  He is the Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Partners Business Services, LLC.  He is member of the AICPA and the Puerto Rico State Society of CPA’s.  Mr. Vélez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with two majors, one in accounting and other in management and a minor in Economics from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.

Ms. Marta Sánchez–Quiles, CPA, CGMA – Senior Vice President & Controller –  Ms. Sánchez has over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. She has occupied the position of Senior Financial Analyst in-charge of all type of financial analysis of our clients and previously worked as Audit Senior for a recognized domestic public accounting firm servicing various industries such as construction, retail and healthcare. She is Vice-President and Controller of Partners Business Services, LLC.  She is member of the AICPA and the Puerto Rico State Society of CPA’s.  Ms. Sánchez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico.

Ms. Marie-Lynne García Vázquez, CPA – Senior Vice President & Secretary – With over 15 years of experience in tax and consulting Services, Ms. García is our Tax Supervisor and in-charge of Investor Relations. She previously worked as Tax Senior in an international accounting firm and knowledge in both US and PR taxes, including US partnerships.  She is also the Vice-President and Secretary of Partners Business Services, LLC in charge of the continuing professional education and in-house training programs for our administrative staff.  She is member of the AICPA and the Puerto Rico State Society of CPA’s. Ms. Garcia is a magna cum laude graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with majors in commercial administration and finance from the University of Puerto Rico.

Ms. Ivonne SantosVice President of Operations – Affordable Housing Properties  –  Ivonne worked 30 years in IGP LP and currently, in the Management Company, is Vice President in charge of the complete supervision of the leasing, social work and maintenance staff of a group of apartment properties.

 

Mr. Carlos Maisonet CamposVice President & IT Director – Carlos worked 23 years in IGP LP and currently, in the Management Company, is Vice President and Information & Technology Director.
